Alex Hamilton Resignation

Hi members, I am disappointed to advise that our head professional Alex Hamilton has tendered his resignation.
Alex is choosing a change in career direction outside of the golf industry but intends to retain an association with the game as a coach in his spare time.
He finishes up his full time role at the club on 31 January, but has kindly offered to continue to provide us with his PGA services on a casual contract basis.
Members with lesson packages and ladies and junior clinics along with club repairs will be accommodated by Alex, at least for the time being.
It is the view of myself & the board that a club of our standing should have a resident PGA golf professional.
Alex is a popular member of the staff, a good coach and a general good bloke…not only will he be missed, he will be hard to replace.
We wish him well in his new adventure and look forward to seeing him around the club.
